In the early stages of planning, I found this app to be quite helpful. Wish it had more restaurant content though. The offline map feature is ok but hardly a replacement for a good street map

Offline map is wonderful! Its not too detailed, but allows for a great visualization of the top spots and allows one to place these spots into a favorites category.

The offline map is the only thing that kept me from getting hopelessly lost in Rome. I was able to hit all the sights I wanted to see while exploring back alleys and cafes.

Used the Guidepal apps on my recent visit to Europe, and they were great. All the reviews of attractions/restaurants/etc are available offline which is great. The offline map is great; it also links with your GPS to show you where you are and what is nearby. Reviews were very detailed and informative. I was sitting in the Pantheon reading all about it...

App says everything is offline, then REQUIRES you to sign in. Worse thing, the stupid app wont even connect to the net. Lousy, sloppy work. Useless.

I downloaded this app only to learn that I had to immediately download a new app. So you have to download 2 apps to find out this is a terrible app. Its free for San Francisco and I just wanted Rome.

I downloaded this app and when I went open it, it immediately pointed me back to the store to download a different app that has a bunch of other cities around the world. Dont bother wasting the time if you want a app specific to this city as the title of the app would imply.

You must use the main Guidepal app not individual cities. Dont bother getting this.
